We've been experimenting with more and more Mediterranean cooking, and as such started gathering some of the more common spices called for. We like this one so much that we've begun using it on day to day dishes as an accent. It has a bit of a hot kick to it, but still has lots of flavor too. This has become a staple in our pantry.

I have been happy with all the spices I have got from simply organic This is a very tasty spice mix Good quality And organic For me it is quite hot -I can only use a little bit- I add more paprika to mellow it down I like to sprinkle it on chicken before I cook it and drizzle lemon or lime juice Very easy way to make a exotic chicken dish with very little effort

I like that this product is organic and it is salt free. The ingredients are straightforward and the flavor is good, with a little bit of heat. I would not describe it as hot even though the main ingredient is chili pepper. The cumin helps give the blend an earthy quality, but I would have liked the spearmint to have come through just a little bit more. This is a versatile blend and is good on meat or added to rice or noodles, as well as traditional Middle Eastern fare such as hummus.SImply organic doesn't disappoint; the only reason I gave this 4 stars was that I wanted more spearmint, but that is a personal preference and doesn't take away from the usefulness of the product.

This was purchased as a gift for someone who enjoys a variety of foods, and she does a lot of cooking. So, I think this will be another great seasoning that could be added to her spices for cooking. I loved the combination of ingredients that this seasoning has in it.

I bought this to use as a quick and easy Harissa seasoning, without having to go through the trouble of making my own paste. While it may not be as "authentic" as the real stuff, it has a nice, spicy flavor and adds a little zest to a wide array of recipes. I have been purchasing Simply Organic products for a while now, and I am always pleased with the quality—plus being that it is organic is an added bonus!

Great seasoning that goes well with anything, I usually use it on cruciferous vegetables to give a palatable taste, and the ingredients are great for any healthy diet.

Smells like harissa, only acidity is missing, you only have to add some lemon juice or vinegar to it so it tastes like real harissa

Great replacement if liquid harissa. Taste is similar but you can keep it longer, store it more easily and size is smaller but bigger quantity to use. Overall very happy with the product, package and composition.

Perfect blend of spices! I used it as a dry spice and then as mixed with tomato paste/red pepper I pureed in the food processor to make a paste.
