Best sprout jars on the market. These are easy to wash and take out the spouts when they are ready and look great on the countertop when you have things growing in them. Only thing is you need a stand w/tray to help elevate the jars to drain the water.
These jars are BIG. They're really good quality, made of glass and the lid is stainless steel with a screen top to drain water easily. I used it the first time to sprout 1.5 tablespoons of broccoli sprouts in one jar and 1.5 tablespoons of zesty sprouts in another jar and there was plenty of room in both after sprouting. I assume it can comfortably sprout double the amount. I will try that next time. Very nice jars. It also comes with a little sprouting guide and recipe booklet.
This jar is a great size! Just started snacking on some NOW broccoli sprouts from my first try at sprouting. I love the straining lid and will be trying some other seeds soon! Its great to be able to sprout just what I need for myself or do more to share! Highly recommend this jar and I am also very happy to have found iherb! My ordering experience was awesome!
I've been using this jar frequently to sprout mung beans, mostly, and it works perfectly. It's inexpensive, sturdy, the perfect size, and easy to clean. I usually prop it up in a larger mixing bowl after rinsing my sprouts to let them drain, and then cover the setup with a towel to ensure darkness. Perfect, effortless sprouts every time!
Fantastic quality and very spacious! I bought 11 jars to sprout large batches and the jars are ideal! Easy to handle, easy to rinse the sprouts and easy to clean. Would highly recommend for every sprout fan!
This jar is perfect for sprouting microgreens. Thick glass, big enough, wide-mouth opening, and easy to clean. The lid goes with a fine mesh, works great for sprouting as tiny seeds as broccoli, alfalfa, radish, mustard and clover. It takes some time to remove the big label sticker, overall the jar is perfect.
This jar is great. Apparently I'm not good with measurements, because I was expecting a standard ball jar and this was huge. I tried lentil sprouts right away. Half a cup of lentils yielded so many sprouts I didn't even know what to do with them all. The jar also came really well wrapped and in great condition. I'm going to be buying another one for my sister as well. This is a great investment and perfect if you're a beginner to sprouting like me. There are literally directions on the label, you cannot mess this up.
I love how easy this jar is to use to make sprouts for two for a few days until the next batch is ready! Cleaning it is easy, rinsing the sprouts is easy and it perfectly wraps in a dish towel to keep out the light. Very happy with this purchase! If you buy it, happy sprouting!
I’ve only been using for a little over a week, but the sprouting jars work as expected. I more wanted to leave a review of iherb.
