Great Supplement for Reducing CholesterolAn Excellent Quality supplement with good composition and after taking iHerb's Red Yeast Rice with CoQ10, Milk Thistle and Alpha Lipoic Acid..noticed my cholesterol level has reduced and of course with proper food intake, minimising processed food, canned food and deep fried food. It's my preferred brand rather than taking medication. Please click "Yes"👍if you like my review. Thank you! Stay Safe and Stay Healthy!!🤩🤩
I'm happy to say that I've been taking red yeast rice on a regular basis for years, and for years that has made it unnecessary to take anything else for my blood pressure. A few years ago my primary prescribed Losartan, and the combination of Losartan and red yeast rice has worked out remarkably well. My cholesterol and blood pressure numbers are lower than ever, and I'm really relieved that I have one less thing to worry about. I'd recommend the NOW brand as the most economical I've found. I used to use a combined red yeast rice and guggul product, but I haven't noticed any difference since I've been using NOW's formulation of red yeast rice without guggul.
This amazing supplement combines red yeast rice, alpha-lipoic acid, and CoQ10 to protect against free radicals, as well as silymarin to support healthy liver function. CoQ10 is also known for its cardiovascular support properties. This drug helps your blood vessels to be healthier and lower the level of "bad" cholesterol.
I think it benefitted me a bit. I had a health check-up back in October and March. Two weeks before the appointment, I started taking this and the blood test showed better numbers than in October. I eat animal based so I don't worry about cholesterol. But my company requires us to take annual health checks and conventional doctors don't want to see high cholesterol so I took this supplement to just please them. (It was still on the high side but if I had more time before the appointment, it could have been better.
I'm taking this to avoid taking prescription meds to manage cholesterol. I have tried 2 different brands and this one is the best so far, but I do get some stomach pain/cramps as a side effect. My cholesterol has gone down 15 points in a year and now is in a normal range, so I'll keep taking this brand. Worth a try if you're trying to avoid traditional medicine. Good luck managing your cholesterol on your own!
