as I have gotten older I have radically transformed my eating patterns. I incorporate nuts into my diet EVERY DAY for the essential fatty acids and fiber (walnuts, almonds, pistachios and macadamia nuts). I eat them raw every day with dinner. I have been eating walnuts daily for a couple of years, but always got them at the local supermarket. I just tried the NOW brand and I love it! It is fresh and super tasty. I used to think of walnuts as boring but now I look forward to them. I have not tried them for cooking or baking but I imagine that they would be excellent for that too. Hope this helps!

I've sampled all of NOWs line of nuts and they never dissapoint in their quality of freshness. My preference is unsalted as sometimes even lightly salted can mask the true nut texture, per my taste buds anyway. Size of these walnuts are first-rate, taste meaty and delicious. When a sweet tooth urge flares, I like to pop a small handful of these tasty nutritious morsels.
remember to put it in the refrigerator, this will prolong the shell's life. i love this walnut the quality of this brand has always tasted good and the packaging is well thought out. you can seal it off from the same package. will buy again for my next purchase.
Love these for my fudge and brownies making. A generous bag of walnuts, you can make several desert dishes or whatever you like without running out right away. Economical too, I stopped buying them from the store and just order from iherb before I run out and have enough for baking for awhile. The quality is good and that’s the usual case for Now brand nuts-I’m never disappointed in the quality. Taste is good and the nuts are different sizes.
Absolutely perfect. They taste great, pack a good nutritional punch, and are a great snack to keep on my desk while I work. Good quality raw walnuts. I like that they are unsalted; I may roast them with some brown sugar and cinnamon later. I bet these would be great in a banana bread or other type of baking project. One note is that the packaging I received is different from the one pictured, but it's clearly still from now foods.
This is also one of my favorite nuts. It is very difficult to find good quality walnuts. They turn rancid very quickly if improperly stored. I trust Now & iHerb to handle the walnuts properly. These are raw unsalted nuts which is just fine with me. I can always toast them if I prefer them that way. I usually just eat them as is, a single ingredient nut product. They taste great.
These NOW walnuts are really tasty and solid! I’ve had a lot of problems finding nuts that are flavorful and that retain their taste and fiber after cooking. Especially in cookies and sweet breads where the best part is getting a big bite of tasty nuts. NOW walnuts are great!
This is one of the low-cost and good quality walnutes I have tried. I use in cakes, cookies , and even smoothies. The package has improved compared to the first one I have purchased when it doesn't reseal well that you have to store the walnuts to airtight canister.
Natural taste and size is good. Large package which is resealable. Benefits of eatinf walnuts are huge, especially if no artificial flavours are added like this product. Serving wise i eat about 20g each day. This becomes part of my daily diet and i like eating it at work. Now food products Are of great quality as always!
