My dad had dementia. I read a study that Lion's Mane taken with people with Alzheimer's that were sedentary and not eating.....started eating again. So it had an effect of motivation of a basic human function. In which this horrible Brain disease takes from you. We'll see.....I really hope it works. Fingers crossed

This thing helps me to stay focused, keeps my brain more productive and able to concentrate for longer time. Tried different brands. The package provides the big amount for the price, but you need to add it to your dishes or beverages. I add 40 ml of water and take as a smoothie shot. The taste is not ugly but not neutral. Taking capsules might be easier. Enjoying the product and it’s benefits.

Lions Mane powder

This Lions Mane tastes and smells good. It also seems to have between 10 and 15% of the active ingredient, in other words not huge amounts of the useless roots and the oats they are grown upon. Idealy, Lions Mane should be grown on Maple or oak tree trunks for a 65% of active ingredients, but that is expensive.

Compared with another Lion’s Main product I’ve tried, this one has been more smooth and the taste is reasonable. I’m not 100% on the effectiveness of the product for clarity, focus, etc as I’m going through a period of transition at work, so my mind requires as much energy as possible, but perhaps waiting for the longer term effects is needed with more time.

I don't have any issues with this Lion's Mane powder. It does seem that it's a lot cheaper than almost any other source that I have found, which does make me wonder whether it is using a lesser quality Lion's Mane or includes the "stump" of the Lion's Mane, which has far less medicinal properties. I don't really have any way of confirming this one way or the other, but I am aware that the more expensive high quality Lion's mane powders will only use the mycillium fruiting body and not the "stump" (whatever this is referred to). I can't say one way or the other whether it has been of benefit because my brain and general health are pretty good anyway. I take this simply because it's good to support the brain, and it's well proven to have that effect.
