Very flavorful and adds a great taste to the food. I use it in salads and other recipes that needs a bit of sour taste. The packaging is good as it is a glass container but the size is a bit small if you cook everyday for a big family.

I've purchased sumac before but it was tasteless compared to Frontier's Ground Sumac. This spice has a fresh scent and a little sour taste just like it should be. Frontier has very high quality spices that are non-irradiated and organic. So glad IHERB had this spice in stock after a long time.

This spice is hard to find in Japan. l use sumac for Turkish food and Mediterranean food, sumac is one of essential spice for them, especially for salads. this sumac is very good quality, actually l can say best sumac l ever had. Highly recommend.

Wow, I never knew I needed sumac in life until Ottolenghi introduced me to this wonderful spice. The packaging of these are top-notch. Came with a seal and the container feels really solid. Spice-wise, quality item and I can't tell you how much you need to add this to your meals. They really bring out an extra something in terms of taste. I love the colour of this. Lovely size compared to most standard spices from supermarket. Definitely something I will repurchase.

I consume sumac almost every day, in salads, in zaatar sandwiches, and soups. It adds a zesty flavour and is very high on the ORAC (antioxidant) scale. This sumac smells and tastes fresh and is just the right size so it won’t go bad from staying on the shelve for too long. I will be purchasing again.

Good quality sumac, the aroma and taste are spot on. We use it in soups and stews a lot. We are in HK and it's not easy to find this in supermarkets (except expensive kinds selling imported goods). It's a great buy if on sale. We will order this again!

I love sumac - it is dried berries coarsely ground The flavor of sumac is quite surprising as the deep red spice is reminiscent of fresh lemon juice. This sweet but sour taste is followed by an astringent powerful punch. While having a diverse flavor profile, sumac still blends exceptionally well with other spices such as allspice, chili, thyme, and cumin. Similar to salt, it brings out the natural flavors of the foods it is cooked with. Try it sprinkled on chips or popcorn Yummy :)

Very enjoyable with eggs and toast! I like that it has no excessive salt amounts like some sumac mixes. You might need to use more of this if you are used to larger flakes. No complaints.
