This is the highest quality of Borage Oil I have found. I take one before bed and it helps me sleep without hot flashes. It has also nourished my skin from the inside over time so I have fewer wrinkles.
I don't consume this on a daily basis, but more as a supplement when I have an eczema flare-up or when I'm experiencing very dry skin. It seemed to sooth the flare-ups. This is my third bottle and I have no complaints so far. Will continue using this brand as it is non-GMO, cold pressed, pesticide-free and gluten-free!
I take one softgel in the evening. This is a great supplement if you are looking for a natural GLA source without synthetic vitamin e. I recommend keeping these in the refrigerator since they don't have any vitamin-e as a preservative. I take borage oil primarily for skin health and I love it. I don't have nearly as many problems as I used to with dry skin or keratosis pilaris since taking this in conjunction with a good fish oil supplement. My skin is soft and smooth and I have had fewer breakouts.
I tried this oil as one of a set - in addition to Barlean's Hi-Lignin Flax oil, Sonne's Cod Liver Oil - all to be the sources of oil vitamins to assimilate silica and calcium in Horsetail herb and oat straw herb. Seems good. My teeth feel less sensitive to heat and cold after 5 days, and I take this Borage Oil as 1 capsule in the morning and 1 before retiring at night. I wake up with more energy and strength in my muscles. I am 61, rarely consume alcohol, stay off sugars and try to eat greens straight out of the garden. So far, so good. Will purchase again. But, I may not review again. Somebody is discouraging reviews, I dont know why
This stuff is amazing Took it twice a day and in 2 weeks felt a different in my skin AND NO ACNE!!!! Totally recommend it
