The doctor said to do a 5/2 pattern with Modafinil (finally something to combat CFS brain fog!) So, I wanted something to help keep me functioning on the weekends when I can’t take the prescription med. L-Theanine is supposed to help the mind be alert, but calm. It doesn’t do any harm as far as I can tell, but my weekends are write offs as far as functioning. I feel groggy most of those days with low motivation, too. I wish this product had even half the effect of Modafinil. That medication is the only thing to have helped me in twelve years. Maybe this is a better supplement for anxiety, or normal brain fatigue. It just isn’t powerful enough for chronic fatigue syndrome.
