The "gold standard" for heartburn relief! I exclusively use Alka-Seltzer gold for my occasional acid reflux symptoms, as it is formulated without aspirin. Aspirin is very irritating to the stomach and can cause/worsen gastritis. I never understood the rationale of including aspirin with an antacid, since there is a lot of overlap between GERD/heartburn symptoms and gastritis. To add insult to injury, Alka-Seltzer Gold is surprisingly hard to find. Walmart is another vendor that carries it, but I can only find it online and they have a higher minimum for free delivery. Also, for the low carb/keto population, Alka-seltzer Gold is not formulated with maltodextrin, corn starch, or sucrose, like many other antacids (i.e. Tums). No need to waste your carbs on an antacid!

It’s as you expect from the brand. Quick, reliable, inoffensive to slurp down. I don’t want to take prescription medicine for acid indigestion if I can help it so popping one of these after a jalapeño cheeseburger or tasty tikka masala makes me regret it less. I’ll continue to order and use as needed.

This product is excellent. It was recommended to me by an allergist I went to years ago. He said to take it if I'd eaten something I shouldn't have to avoid having an allergic reaction to that food. For example, I'm sensitive to wheat, so if I eat something with wheat in it, I would then take Alka Seltzer Gold and that would reduce or eliminate a reation. Each individually wrapped dose is 2 effervescent discs which are then dropped into a glass of water. It is hard to find this product in stores.

I've been waiting for this product for a long time, since iherb was out of stock for quite some time. I had some discomfort in my stomach this afternoon, took the tablets as directed. And it works quite fast in comforting my upset stomach. I intend to order a spare one soon.

Excellent product, a quick solution to the heartburn problem. 2 capsules dissolve in water. Heartburn soon disappears. The taste is tolerable. Not tasty, not terrible either. The capsules are packed in pairs, in a flat package can be taken in a purse or pocket just in case.

Alka Seltzer is a useful item for GERD. It is short lasting, maybe 3 hours or so. But it can be useful when you wake up in the middle of the night w/ acid burning, it helps to quickly knock it down. I also like that the ingredients are natural not chemical.

These are not available in Germany so I was very fortunate to find them here on iherb. They come highly recommended by people with Lyme disease. Also great for the occasional upset stomach.

Works fast like original blend but better for reflux. Perfect dosage of two tablets. Taste is fine, plane like a club soda. The benefit is fast relief!

I've been waiting for this to come back, easy packets of two tabs. I use it in my seltzer plain water, helps with hydration. I add it my liter seltzer or just water. I don't use it for heartburn or upset stomach, i don't have that.

This product is the best if you are having a stomachache I always take one when I have heartburn, reflux, nausea... and it gets better in a few minutes
